Photo Booth Hire FAQ’s

Do you only hire your photo booths to locations in the Midlands?

No. We're based in the heart of the Midlands and this makes us ideally placed to cover a huge area of the UK within a couple of hours drive. Just ask and we'll happily provide a quote for most areas including delivery.

Do you provide staff with the photo booth/selfie pod

Yes, we only supply our booths and pods with an attendant. This ensures that everything runs as it should, nice and problem free so you can get on with enjoying your event. They will make sure your guests get the very best out of the photo booth, ensure the camera remains focused for the very best results, change media as and when required, and help compile the guestbook if that option is chosen.

What is included in the normal hire package?

All of our booths and selfie pods are supplied with a booth attendant, box full of props such as hats, wigs, glasses, moustaches, and more, an instant print containing the four photos taken in the sitting for your guest to take away with them,  a USB stick containing digital copies of all photos for the host, and a secure, password protected online gallery that you and you guests can download and share from after the event.

What additional options are available?

Extra copies of the photos, guest books for the duplicate prints where your guests can write a message to you next to their photo, keyrings, and fridge magnets.

When do you set the photo booth up and when do you take it away?

We normally arrive 60-90 minutes before the agreed start time to set the booth up and then dismantle it and take it away upon completion of the session. We can deliver it earlier or remove it later but a surcharge will apply for the idle hours we have staff waiting around for.

What is “Green Screen”?

Green Screen is a technology that cleverly inserts a picture background behind the subjects of the photo. This means that while the photo was taken in the booth it can look like it was taken in front of the Eiffel Tower, under water, in the Grand Canyon or pretty much anywhere! The Greenscreen Dream Machine includes 3D backgrounds that guests interact with.

What do I need to supply?

Firstly for the seated booths we will require a space of 9ft long by 7ft wide, with a height clearance of 6ft 10in. The open air selfie pod can be operated in a space as small as 6x4ft. If your venue isn't on the ground floor lift access will be required. We'll also require sole use of a single mains electric socket. If the venue isn't on the ground floor, or there are more than three consecutive steps then lift access must be available with the capacity to take a flightcase measuring 4ft 6in x 2ft 2in for the photo booths or 3ft 7in x 2ft 2in for the selfie pod.

Can the booths and pods be used outdoors?

We only supply our photo booths and pods for use either indoors or inside a heated marquee. Marquees must be fully enclosed (i.e. have four walls), a solid, level, perfectly flat floor, and be totally watertight.

How do I book?

Firstly email us for a quote. Then when you know what package you'd like complete the booking form, email it back to us, and we'll issue the invoice for the deposit.

How do I pay?

A small deposit is required to confirm the booking and this is required within 7 days. This can be paid by bank transfer, credit or debit card, cheque. The balance is then due 3 days prior to the date of the event. 

Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes, we have liability insurance with £5m indemnity and can also provide both a risk assessment and method statement for confirmed bookings.
